Peach Tattoo is Duluth’s first co-operative, queer, body positive, environmentally conscious, micro tattoo studio. Peach strives to do the best work and treat clients and community with kindness. The founder, Erica Pauline, is a local queer artist. Erica has their B.F.A in studio art from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where they also worked on the Queer and Allied Student Union board in the Multicultural Center. Erica specializes in illustrative tattooing and has a passion for botanical work. They believe that tattooing can be a transformative and meaningful experience. Peach’s co-owner/operator, Teresa Mahnke, is just beginning her tattoo journey, but is excited to be part of a strong queer and femme community. She is currently studying art history and studio art while learning the tattoo trade. Teresa wants to help people choose joy and embrace what makes them glow. The co-owners have big plans for this small space, such as implementing environmentally friendly and vegan practices, and empowering humans through body positivity. The small nine by nine private studio has no room for bigotry or hate, but has endless capacity for affirmation, love, and community.
